About our privacy policy

Goedkooppakket is the trade name of Jouw Receptioniste for the Dutch-speaking market. We highly value your privacy. We only process the data we need to provide and improve our services, and we handle the information we collect about you and your use of our services with care. We never sell your data or make it available to third parties for their own commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to your use of the Goedkooppakket website, mobile app, and admin tools. It describes what data about you we collect, what we use it for, and with whom and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect it against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you have provided to us.

Regarding data processing

Below you can read how we process your data, where it is stored, which security measures we use, and which parties we work with to run the service.

Infrastructure & hosting — Amazon Web Services

Our application infrastructure (the servers that run our website and process your requests) is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), in the EU (Frankfurt) region. AWS processes data on our behalf only, does not use it for its own purposes, and has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it. Server logs are used only for operating and securing the service (e.g. diagnosing errors), not for tracking or advertising.

Database, authentication & file storage — Supabase

Your account data, order and shipment history, and uploaded files (such as signed agreements, where applicable) are stored and managed via Supabase, which also handles secure sign-in (including two-factor authentication) on our behalf. Supabase processes this data solely to provide these services to us and has appropriate technical and organizational safeguards in place.

Address lookup — OpenStreetMap (Photon) / HERE Technologies

When you type an address into our shipping forms, we query an address-lookup service to suggest and verify real addresses. Depending on configuration, this is either Photon (built on the open, community-maintained OpenStreetMap dataset) or HERE Technologies. Only the partial text you type and the country you have selected are sent to this service to retrieve suggestions — no other account information is shared with it.

Transactional email — Resend

We use Resend to deliver transactional emails such as order confirmations, password resets, and account notifications. Resend processes the recipient address and message content solely to deliver these emails on our behalf and does not use this data for its own purposes.

Payments — Pay.nl

To process payments and shipping-credit top-ups, we use the payment platform Pay.nl. Pay.nl processes your name, payment method details (such as your bank or card information), and transaction amount to complete your payment. Pay.nl has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data and does not retain it longer than required by statutory retention periods.

Shipping and logistics — Sendcloud, PostNL, DHL, DPD & UPS

To have your parcels delivered, we share the recipient and sender name, address, email address, and phone number with the carrier fulfilling your shipment. Depending on the shipment, this happens either directly with the carrier (PostNL, DHL, DPD, or UPS) or via Sendcloud, a shipping platform that connects our system to these carriers. These parties use this data solely to create labels and deliver your parcel, and may share it with their own subcontractors (e.g. local delivery agents) where necessary to complete delivery.

General purpose of processing

We use your data exclusively to provide our services — comparing carrier rates, creating shipping labels, processing payments, and managing your account. If you share data with us and we want to use it to contact you later for a purpose other than fulfilling your request, we will ask for your explicit permission first. We do not share your data with third parties beyond what is described on this page, except where required to comply with accounting or other legal obligations — any such party is bound by confidentiality, whether contractually, by professional oath, or by law.

Automatically collected data

Some data is collected automatically to operate and improve our services — for example, your IP address, browser type, and operating system, captured in server logs for security and diagnostic purposes. We do not currently use any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on our website.

Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations

In certain cases, Goedkooppakket may be legally required to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations by government authorities. In such a case, we are compelled to share your data, but we will resist this within the limits of the law.

Retention periods

We retain your account data for as long as you remain a customer. If you ask us to delete your account, we will do so, other than data we are legally required to retain — in particular, invoices and order records that must be kept for statutory accounting and tax retention periods. Once your account is deleted, our staff no longer have day-to-day access to your profile or associated documents.

Your rights

Under applicable Dutch and European law (including the GDPR), you have certain rights regarding the personal data we process about you. We explain below what these rights are and how you can exercise them.

To prevent misuse, we only send copies of your data to the email address we already have on file for you. If you'd like your data sent elsewhere, we may ask you to verify your identity first. We keep a record of requests we've handled; for a deletion request, this record is kept in anonymized form.

You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe we are handling your personal data incorrectly.

Right of inspection

You have the right to see the data we process about you. You can submit a request via the contact details below; we'll respond within 30 days. If granted, we'll send a copy of your data to the email address we have on file, along with an overview of which parties hold this data and under what category we've stored it.

Right of rectification

You have the right to have incorrect or incomplete data about you corrected. You can submit a request via the contact details below; we'll respond within 30 days and confirm once the correction has been made.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to ask us to restrict how we process your data. You can submit a request via the contact details below; we'll respond within 30 days and confirm once processing has been restricted, until you lift the restriction.

Right to portability

You have the right to receive the data we process about you in a portable format, so it can be transferred to another provider. You can submit a request via the contact details below; we'll respond within 30 days. Note that granting this request may mean we can no longer continue providing your account, since secure linking of your data can no longer be guaranteed once removed.

Right of objection and other rights

In applicable cases, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data. If you object, we will pause processing while we review your objection; if it is well-founded, we will provide you a copy of the relevant data and then permanently stop processing it. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects for you.

Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. You'll always find the current version on this page, dated at the top. If a change materially affects how we process data we've already collected about you, we'll notify you by email.
